Jillian Whitney

In my “Alphabet Strip” series, I created illustrations modeled after alphabet strips commonly found in elementary school classrooms. In this series, each letter of the alphabet corresponds to an issue affecting public schools. For example, “B is for Book Bans” or “F is for Funding”. I have completed 25 of these paintings and plan to complete 26. Together, the paintings provide an overview, demonstrating how various issues collectively affect schools' ability to support staff and students.
